Hilton-Baird Financial Solutions wins prestigious award in 25th year

29/04/2022

Commercial finance and working capital specialists Hilton-Baird Financial Solutions were last night crowned Invoice Finance Broker of the Year at the annual Business Moneyfacts Awards.

The commercial finance broker, which this year celebrates its 25th anniversary, fended off stiff competition to win the title for the third time in five years.

Held at Evolution London, the Business Moneyfacts Awards is the country’s largest business finance awards ceremony and recognises outstanding achievements and exceptional client service amongst the leading brokers and lenders in the UK.

Evette Orams, Managing Director at Hilton-Baird Financial Solutions, and Helen Tramaseur, Marketing Manager, accepted the award from comedian Rob Beckett and the Editor of Business Moneyfacts magazine, Lee Tillcock, with the former saying it’s a great reward for the team’s continued hard work and dedication in supporting British businesses.

Mrs Orams said: “Businesses across the country are contending with immense pressures on their cash flow each day. The fallout from the pandemic would ordinarily be challenging enough, but soaring inflation and energy bills coupled with widespread late payment are making cash flow management more and more difficult as the months go by.

“Our team of commercial finance experts have continued to do an outstanding job supporting businesses with their cash flow and working capital requirements by identifying and introducing the most suitable finance options available to them.

“To win this award for the third time in five years is a fantastic endorsement of our team’s consistency and ongoing dedication to support businesses of all sizes. To win it again in this, our 25th year, makes me immensely proud.”

As a commercial finance broker, Hilton-Baird Financial Solutions has expertise across a wide range of products but specialises in invoice finance, which enables businesses to release cash against the value of unpaid invoices to boost their cash flow.

Mrs Orams explained: “Invoice finance is a fantastic funding tool for many businesses which trade on credit terms and has an important role to play in supporting cash flows, particularly during times of economic growth or instability.

“By enabling businesses to access cash tied up in the value of invoices as and when needed, they are able to pay suppliers, bills and day-to-day costs well in advance of being paid by customers.”
